We understand that kids learn and respond to the spirit of God on a different level from adult. At The Church of God in Lynchburg, VA, we offer services geared toward kids (ages 6 months to 12 years) to come and worship on their level.
We would love to have you and your family visit our Children's Service.
your first visit
Here's what to expect when visiting TCOG Kids for the first time:
You can find a check-in station in the Welcome Lobby, or ask a volunteer or regular attender to assist you with this process. Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask you for the following: (NOTE: We value your privacy and won't share your information with any other organization)
You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service
After the service is complete, you may pick up your child by returning to your child’s room and turning in your security tag.
*In the event of a special service or occasion that the children are to participate in the closing of service, your child will be escorted to the main sanctuary and you can turn in your tag to a volunteer in the sanctuary.
Parent's viewing room
TCOG Lynchburg offers childcare during service for infants, but we also have a Parent's Viewing Room that is available just outside the main sanctuary for mothers and fathers with infants. This room is reserved exclusively for parents with infants to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment.
